Ambrosius Bosschaert the Elder (1621) was a Flemish-born Dutch still life painter and art dealer. His bouquets were painted symmetrically and with scientific accuracy in small dimensions and normally on copper. Here we made a collage pattern from the famous painting “Vase of Flowers in a window”, also on display at the Mauritshuis Museum in the Hague. This bouquet has a spring-summer look compared to our JanDavidsz “Fruit & Flower” design.
